Anna Maria Ebert studied Philosophy, Literature and Postcolonial Studies at Freie Universität Berlin. Alongside her academic studies, she was part of filmArche e.V. and completed a semester at the Escuela de Cine in Uruguay. After receiving her Master’s degree, she continued her directing studies at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF).
